
Texarkana Man Sentenced to 240 Years for 2024 Apartment Homicide
The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department has announced a major development in a 2024 homicide case that began with a deadly shooting at River Run Apartments.
According to a press release, officers responded to the apartment complex located at 1310 East 35th Street on October 22, 2024, where a juvenile victim had been fatally shot. Investigators later identified the suspect as Kahim Webster, who was arrested on November 26, 2024, on charges of First Degree Murder and multiple counts of Terroristic Act.

Webster appeared before a jury on February 24 of this year. On March 2, a Miller County jury found him guilty of First Degree Murder and 10 counts of Terroristic Act.

He was sentenced to 40 years for the murder conviction and 20 years for each Terroristic Act count. The sentences will run consecutively, resulting in a total of 240 years in prison.
Texarkana Police Credit Agencies, Jury in This Case
TAPD officials praised on their Facebook page, the teamwork of investigators and prosecutors in bringing the case to a close. The department also expressed its appreciation to the Miller County Prosecutor’s Office for its role in securing the conviction, as well as the jurors who served.
Officials say the verdict marks an important step toward justice for the victim and the victim’s family, noting the case was the result of extensive cooperation among law enforcement and support personnel.
