The Texarkana Arkansas Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred Monday afternoon, July 13 at Farmer's Bank & Trust on Arkansas Boulevard.

According to the Texarkana Arkansas Police press release, officers were called to the bank around 2 PM on July 13 after receiving reports of a robbery involving an ATM service technician.

Investigators say the ATM was being serviced when two black men approached the victim and demanded money. Police said the suspects threatened the victim, gained access to the ATM, and took an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the scene.

Investigation Ongoing

Detectives with TAPD's Criminal Investigation Division responded to the scene and reviewed surveillance video as part of the investigation. Authorities say detectives are actively pursuing leads from the video footage and witness statements to help identify the suspects.
