If you watched the Olympic Trials this weekend then you got to see Texarkana native Joscelyn Roberson compete in gymnastics for a spot on Team USA in the upcoming 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris this month.

Headed to Paris

Five athletes were selected for a spot on the United States Women Gymnastics team she had a strong performance at the trials enough to be awarded as one of two Olympic alternates and will get to travel to Paris with Team USA.

This will mark the first time that Roberson makes it to the biggest stage in the world and the first Arkansas gymnast to make it to the Olympics. She is committed to attending the University of Arkansas to join the Gymbacks. Joscelyn Roberson posted a two-day total of 117.225 to earn a spot on the team.
