Texarkana's Randy Sams Outreach Shelter in Need of Bottled Water

It's hot and right now it is so important to stay hydrated as best you can. That's why the Randy Sams Outreach Shelter is asking for your help. They are in dire need of bottled water.

They also need and other types of drinks like Gatorade and Powerade to help keep those in need hydrated.

Randy Sams Shelter has teamed up with Greater Texarkana Young Professionals to make an even bigger impact. GTYP will match donations made from now until Thursday, June 30. They will match tp to $250.

Randy Sams Outreach Shelter, is located at 402 Oak Street in Texarkana Texas.

With temperatures in the upper 90's and up to 100 degrees right now the steamy humidity makes it feel like it's 110 degrees outside. Unfortunately, it is so easy to get a heat stroke or heat exhaustion in these high temperatures.

Randy Sams Shelter not only supplies these drinks for the people at the shelter but also they are giving it to people that are homeless and living on the streets.
