Win a Lifetime Texas Hunting Fishing License From Tx Parks & Wildlife

Do you enjoy hunting or fishing? It's the time of year to get a new license with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department.

The TPWD is reminding hunters and anglers that current year Texas hunting and fishing licenses (except the Year-from-Purchase All-Water Fishing Package) will expire at the end of August. New licenses for the 2021-22 season go on sale this Sunday, August 15. And they have a great incentive to go ahead and get your license now.

We all know that hunting and fishing are both big in Texas. According to a press release, it's really big. Annually, Texans purchase more than 2.7 million hunting and fishing licenses and directly fund a multitude of conservation efforts and recreational opportunities, helping make Texas one of the best places in the country to hunt and fish.

It's actually a great way to make sure that the state can keep giving back. That money is used for fish stocking, wildlife management, habitat restoration, public hunting leases, river fishing access and Texas Game Wardens.

There are a variety of licenses that you can purchase online at the TPWD website.

Here's Your Chance at a Lifetime License

Did you know that the TPWD is also having a lottery of sorts too? When you buy your license, you will also have the chance to buy an entry in the Lifetime License Drawing. Three winners will be drawn and each will win a Lifetime Super Combo License and never need to buy a Texas hunting or fishing license again.  Entries are $5 each and can be purchased online, by phone or at any licensed retailer. The first entry deadline is Sept. 30, 2021.
