Tim McGraw Being Considered For Movie Re-Make

Remember the movie, the 1976 version of "A Star Is Born" that starred Kris Kristofferson and Barbara Streisand. Well, thanks to movie legend Clint Eastwood it could be making it's way back to theaters for an updated version. No, Clint won't be acting in this movie but instead he will be directing this picture if they can work out some things.Clint Eastwood directed movies always are on time and come in under budget but this movie is having a little trouble coming out of the gate. Originally Eastwood wanted Beyonce in the lead role, but her pregnacy may keep her from making the planned February 2012 start date, and his leading man, Leonardo DiCaprio has apparently turned down the role. But to tell you the truth, I just can't see him playing that role.

The good news according to CMT sources is that country superstar is very interested in playing the role and if so it would become the biggest major starring role of  Tim McGraw's movie career. Casting directors are still looking but do say McGraw is being considered for the leading male role.

I think Tim McGraw would do a great job in that role!
