Travis Tritt has always been one of my favorite singers as a matter of fact, Magic Springs was the very first time I met him when I was working in country radio there in the 90s. The thing I always loved about him was his southern rock roots he brought to country radio during those days. Tritt had a string of hits began in the early 90s and dominated the country music charts for over a decade blending his southern rock sound with honky tonkin' country, that surely made Hank Williams Jr., smile. Like so many country artists who sound alike today, when Travis Tritt came on the radio, you knew who he was instantly.

His first hit "Country Club," was the beginning of a career that solidified him as one of the "Class of 1989." Artists that dominated the country charts in the early 90s, such as Alan Jackson, Garth Brooks, Clint Black and Travis Tritt. Other hits included "Help Me Hold On," Drift Off to Dream," "I Want to be Somebody," off his debut Country Club Album.

Over the next few years Tritt would garner 25 million in career album sales, win two Grammy Awards, Three CMA Awards, appear at two Super Bowls, World Series and perform at some of the biggest venues across the country.

In 2007, Tritt released an album Very Best of Travis Tritt which included hits "Here's a Quarter," "It's a Great Day to be Alive," "Anymore," just to name a few.

Opening for Travis Tritt will be southern rockers the Marshall Tucker Band at 7PM with Travis' show set to begin at 8PM.
