You give people too much power and what happens? They abuse it.  A woman missed her flight in Houston because a TSA agent didn't like her attitude!

The woman got it on video! She uploaded it to YouTube and on her description she says:

This was inside the terminal at the Houston airport. I was not allowed to board a plane (even though I had already been through airport security) because I drank my water instead of letting the TSA “test” it.

In the video you can hear the woman say “Let me get this straight, this is retaliatory for my attitude, this is not making the airways safer it’s retaliatory.”

The TSA agent says “It pretty much definitely is.”

I almost had a run in with the TSA at our airport in Texarkana!  Now, I can honestly say 99.999% of the people working at our airport are absolutely wonderful! But, there was an incident a couple of years ago.

My husband, John, and I were boarding a plane for Dallas on our way to Jamaica. Going through the screening process, the TSA agent asked my husband (who was in front of me) for a picture I.D. John handed over his passport. The agent said "No, I need a picture I.D.! I need your driver's license!"

John said, "Um, a passport IS a picture I.D." The agent said, "Sir, do you have a problem?"  John said "No, sir" and quickly bit his tongue as not to accelerate the situation.

Oh, yippee! I was next in line!  I quickly found my driver's license and handed it over along with my passport. The TSA agent took both, rolled his eyes and gave me the "old" sigh of disgust. He then handed me back my passport and said "I don't NEED that!"  Talk about attitude! Geesh!

I was about to lose it! Did this TSA agent not know a passport trumps a driver's license?  But, I held my tongue. This guy had the power to keep us from our flight! Luckily, we did make our flight, but have you ever experienced anything like this?
