Tuesday Night Texarkana Shooting Under Investigation
Texarkana Texas Police are investigating a shooting at the McDonalds on New Boston Road Tuesday night in Texarkana.
TTPD posted on its Facebook Page today about a shooting investigation that apparently took place on Tuesday night at approximately 10:30 PM in the McDonalds parking lot on New Boston Road in Texarkana, Texas.
Fortunately, no one lost their life in the altercation but two people were hospitalized with bullet wounds. The first was a 17-year-old who police found in the McDonalds parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg, the second, was a 21-year-old man who had been shot twice in the torso and showed up at the hospital about 10 minutes later, according to the report.
The police report states:
We've learned that there was some type of altercation between the occupants of the two vehicles (three people in each) as they were driving down the road. They wound up pulling into the McDonalds parking lot and the shooting from at least one of the vehicles started shortly afterward. From that point forward, the facts get somewhat murky as we've gotten conflicting accounts from those who were in the vehicles that we've been able to talk to.
The information is sketchy at this time and police say they are still trying to piece it all together. If you have any information regarding this case, please call 903-798-3116, after hours call 903-798-3876. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
