Something big is about to happen at the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana (UAHT) and you are invited to be a part of it. Community partners, faculty, staff, students, and local residents are invited to attend the finalist presentations for the position of UAHT Chancellor.

UAHT Theme Focuses on Building Bridges and Opportunity

The presentations will give the public an idea of each of the finalists' vision for the future of the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana. The theme for the presentations is “Building Bridges: Strengthening UAHT’s Role as a Regional Catalyst for Education and Opportunity.”

UAHT Chancellor Finalists' Presentation Dates and Details

The three presentations will be held on different dates from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM in the auditorium of the Rapert Library on the UA-Hope campus. Anna Powell, president of Hempstead County Economic Development, will give the introductions.

Laura Clark will speak on Friday, November 14

Dr. Ricky Tompkins will speak on Monday, November 17

Dr. Steve Rook will speak on Tuesday, November 18

Rare Opportunity for Public to Give Feedback on the UAHT Chancellor Finalists

If you are not able to attend, the sessions will be recorded and available online after the final presentation. The public is encouraged to share feedback through the UAHT Chancellor Search Feedback Form at bit.ly/Chancellor-Search-Feedback.

With the opportunity to give feedback, this is a fantastic chance for you to be a part of the selection process.
