Wade Hayes Battling Colon Cancer

Country singer Wade Hayes is battling stage IV colon cancer. He's currently recovering from surgery and will now undergo six months of chemotherapy.

According to roughstock.com, Wade is resting comfortably after his surgery and even though the cancer had spread to his liver, the prognosis is good.

Wade is best known for his hit "Old Enough To Know Better" back in 1996.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Wade. I've had the opportunity to visit with him on several occasions over the years, most recently at Tracy Lawrence's celebrity golf tournament a few years back, and he's a super nice guy. Here's to a speedy recovery!
