Two burning questions: Where are we gonna go to drink wine and paint? And, is there just one ice cream store in Texarkana now?

Seriously, when did these businesses close? We just noticed it a few days ago so I had to stop and spread the word as two more businesses in Texarkana have bit the dust.

Feel free to take a chunk out of my man-card if you swish but Painting with a Twist was fun. My wife and I went several times to events there and had a blast each time.

Yeah, maybe it was the wine, I don't know, but I hated to hear that this place closed. I'm not sure when it happened, my guess is it was pandemic related. It got extremely difficult to run a fun small business like that when everyone was masked up and scared to be close to each other. Stupid Covid!

If it's left up to me no ice cream store would survive because I just can't eat it very often or I would weigh 900 pounds. I love it but, well, you know. As I looked on their Facebook page (which is still there), I discovered that they closed down due to covid back in January, unfortunately, all the equipment has been moved out and it looks like they are done. Fifteen Below opened around April of 2021 and by January of 2022, they were gone. Very sad indeed. Maybe since their FB Page still exists they might pop back up somewhere? Who knows. All I know is I never got to try it.

So, does this mean we are down to one ice cream shop in Texarkana, Cold Stone Creamery? Or is there another I don't know about? I guess we can always drink wine at home and paint, but where's the fun in that? I'm gonna go drown my sorrows in a dish of Blue Bell, yes with chocolate sauce!

Luv ya, mean it.
