Summertime approacheth... quickly, and summertime means fun-time at Magic Springs in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Mario and I met the PR person for Magic Springs the other day and she is excited to let you know about the new ride called "Brain Drain".

Her name is Mary Claire and in the video below she gives us a quick preview of the first new ride at Magic Springs in ten years.

Magic Springs opens up April 7 and check out the 2018 concert series:

  • May 26 - Vertical Horizon and Sister Hazel
  • June 2 - Granger Smith
  • June 9 - Queensrÿche with Warrant and Great White
  • June 16 - Crowder
  • June 23 - Martina McBride
  • June 30 - Kansas
  • July 7 - Toby Mac
  • July 14 - Foghat and Blue Oyster Cult
  • July 21 - Seether
  • July 28 - Skillet
  • August 4 - Lauren Alaina
  • August 11 - En Vogue
  • September 1 - Jacob Sartorius
  • September 2 - Banda Carnival

In most cases there's no extra charge for concert tickets either, you by a day pass or use your season pass and you're in. More concert details are available here.

I revealed a secret to Mary Claire, can you believe as long as I have worked and lived here that I have never been to Magic Springs! Shamefully, it's true. This summer I plan on rectifying that, still not sure I want to drop 13 stories on the Brain Drain ride though, generally speaking, I like to keep my lunch right where it is, so that may take a little psyching up.

We'll see.

More information about Magic Springs is on their website.
