The American Cancer Society is gearing up for it's very first-ever Cattle Baron's Ball Saturday, October 5, 7 p.m. at Bandana Ranch located off FM 1397 Texarkana, TX. The event is adequately named the "Stateline Stampede" and will feature the country band Emerson Drive as the headlining act.

According to co-chairman Linda Lilly these type of events have been going on for a number of years in cities all across the U.S. Lilly said, "we are really excited about bringing a first scale fundraising event of this caliber to Texarkana to help raise money for the American Cancer Society." "This event will be like nothing Texarkana has ever experienced."

The theme of this year's Cattle Baron's Ball is 'Boots, Bangles, & Bandanas.' So wear your western attire and come ready to have a great time. Grammy nominees Emerson Drive will be the headliners for the evening and you may remember their hits "Fall Into Me" "I Should Be Sleeping" and their first number one single with "Moments" in 2008. Emerson Drive also won the ACM Top Vocal Group of the Year in 2007. The band is expected to be releasing a brand new album in October of this year and that means everyone at the concert will be able to hear some brand new material.

Tickets for this festive event are $150 which includes a silent and live auction, dance band "Dag Nabit", a full course cowboy cuisine catered by Eddy Deen Catering of Dallas and the concert by Emerson Drive.
