Interim City Manager Chosen for Texarkana Texas

The Texarkana Texas City Council has chosen Finance Director Charlie Bassett to temporarily take over as City Manager.Bassett will fill the shoes of Dr. Larry Sullivan who is retiring this week. The city council is currently in the process of hiring a permanent replacement for Sullivan who has been in that position for the past five years.
