It's almost that time again for the 33rd Annual Wonderland of Lights Festival in Marshall, Texas. Thanks to the Cty of Marshall, Marshall Convention Center and the Visitor's Bureau and Main Street Marshall.

This year you're invited to enjoy the "Candy Wonderland of Lights in beautiful, historic downtown Marshall where millions of white lights will adorn the historic 1911 Harrison County Courthouse. This popular event has been taking place since 1987 and has been delighting people of all ages for generations. From a beautifully restored vintage 1948 Herschel carousel in Santa's Village to a collection of tiny homes each featuring a fun holiday event. You can build a train, decorate a cookie, and visit Santa himself! Catch a ride on the Holly Trolly, Wonderland Express, a horse-drawn carriage ride on one of three carriages through downtown Marshall. Festival-goers can also enjoy a real outdoor ice skating rink and the Wonderland of Sites, a tour of lighted historic homes, churches, patios, and museums.

Get into the Christmas spirit with live music at Telegraph Park performed by area churches, school choirs, and local musicians. Don't miss out on special events throughout the season which includes a Lighted Christmas Parade, Tigers on Ice, Outdoor Christmas Market, Jingle Bell Run, Wassail Walk on Small Business Saturday, the new Storyfest and of course, the Opening Lighting Ceremony Nov. 27, at 6PM.
