When I was kid each year my parents would take me to the annual  Kiwanis Pancake Day. It was probably one of my favorite events in Texarkana during that time and still is today. This year marks the 58th Annual Pancake Day and 5K March, 5, 2016 at the Truman Arnold Center on the Texarkana College campus.A few years ago the pancake organizers added a 5K walk/run to one of the Kiwanis Club's biggest fundraisers of the year. The event begins at 7AM until 2PM with all you can eat pancakes for only $5. Breakfast also includes your choice of eggs, bacon, sausage, coffee, juice and milk. In addition, there will raffle, bake sale and silent auction.

For registration forms and for more information go to Kiwanis Club of Texarkana.

All proceeds go to charities benefiting children.
