The Marshall Symphony Orchestra and the Marshall Regional Arts Council presents their annual Downtown Concert “Jeans 'n Classics: the Music of U2 and Queen”. This annual event takes place under a large tent in the middle of Marshall's historic downtown square on Saturday, Sept.15.

You will hear live orchestra music play your favorite 80's and 90's hits such as: "We Are the Champions", "Don't Stop Me Now", "With Or Without You", and "Beautiful Day" sung by vocalist Michael Shotton. This year's concert includes a chorus of local singers prepared by Mark Crim who will provide backup during the Queen segments of the concert. For the past 12 years, local businesses, restaurants, and organizations have come together to enjoy the music of the Marshall Symphony Orchestra and promote Marshall’s Downtown. Special thanks to the Marshall Symphony, the Marshall Regional Arts Council, the Marshall Symphony League and Celia and Ken Carlile for their support in making this event a success.
