Ark-La-Tex Outdoor Expo at Hempstead Hall Feb. 3-4, 2017
The Ark-La-Tex Outdoor Expo will be coming to Hempstead Hall on the University of Arkansas’s Hope, Ark., campus February 3-4 2017. The Expo will feature over 20 vendors, educational exhibits and a country concert from Craig Morgan.
Participating vendors will have boats, all-terrain vehicles, duck and turkey calls, cabin lamps, leather goods, fishing lures, knives, lawn mowers, and even jewelry for those who enjoy the great outdoors.
“This will be our first Expo and we are pleased to have twenty vendors already scheduled at this time with a great variety of merchandise,” said Dolly Henley, director of Hempstead Hall. “I feel that this Expo is a good fit for our area because we have so many people in the ARK-LA-TEX who enjoy the outdoors. Hempstead Hall will be the place to be in early February if you are looking for a new boat, lawn mower, or ATV, or if you just need to upgrade your hunting, fishing or camping supplies.”
In addition to the Outdoor Expo, country music star Craig Morgan will headline a concert at Hempstead Hall on Friday, February 3. A multi-faceted entertainer, Craig Morgan has made a name for himself as a country music icon, TV host, celebrated outdoorsman and patriotic Army veteran. Morgan has thrilled massive crowds with his signature hits, including “Bonfire,” Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “International Harvester,” “This Ole Boy,” Wake Up Loving You” and “That's What I Love About Sunday.” which topped the country charts for six weeks at #1 in 2009.
Morgan’s new album, A Whole Lot More To Me, featuring singles “I’ll Be Home Soon” and “When I’m Gone,” was released this summer. Craig received one of country music's highest honors when he was inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2008. In addition to a prolific country music career, he hosts the award-winning TV show “Craig Morgan: All Access Outdoors,” now in its seventh season on Outdoor Channel. Prior to becoming a country music star and TV sensation, Morgan spent seventeen years serving our country in the Army and Army Reserves. He is an avid supporter of America's military personnel and a recipient of the 2006 USO Merit Award.
Tickets for both the Expo and the Craig Morgan concert will be on sale soon at Hempstead Hall. For more information on either event, call Dolly Henley at 870-722-8565.
