Barksdale AIr Force Base Open House And Air Show [VIDEO]

I love a good air show! And this weekend the place to be is Shreveport, Louisiana for the Barksdale Air Force Base Open House and Air Show April 26-27.This year the highlight of the air show is the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. See the Wings of Blue Parachute Team, a T-33//Mig-17 Dogfight, Skyrunner, F-22 Demo Team, the Smoke-N-Thunder Jet Car, plenty of aerosports flying, static displays, historical planes and the Ft. Polk Air Drop.

Gates open at 9 a.m.  Air Show starts at 11 a.m. both Saturday & Sunday. Free Admission/Free Parking. Please allow yourself plenty of time getting there as everyone will have to be security checked before allowed to enter the base.
