Be The Light Festival at Texas A&M University Texarkana Jan. 23
It’s that time of year again. It’s almost HealthCARE Express Day! This is the urgent care’s twelfth year in business in the Texarkana area, and to celebrate they will be hosting a charity event at Texas A&M in Eagle Hall on January 23, 2018 from 5PM to 7PM.
According to their press release, bring your family to the Be the Light Festival and enjoy the fun and festivities. Come play carnival games for raffle tickets for a chance to win awesome prizes. In light of being open for twelve years, HealthCARE Express will be giving away twelve awesome gifts to a few lucky members in our community, some of which include a Broken Bow cabin getaway and two tickets to see Blake Shelton in concert.
To join in, HealthCARE Express only asks that you donate to one of the charities they will be supporting. It doesn’t have to be money either. Some charities, like the Runnin’ WJ Ranch, have a need for paper towels and disinfecting wipes.
The highlight, and namesake, of the event will take place at 7PM as attendees will be encouraged to release a Legacy Lantern out over the pond in front of A&M describing what kind of legacy everyone participating would like to leave for the future.
