I love this time of the year when the leaves start turning and the smell of fall is in the air. What better way to enjoy the fall weather than by taking a road trip in the great state of Arkansas in search of some of the best festivals. This weekend one of South Arkansas's largest arts and crafts festivals will take place in Camden, Ark. The BPW Barn Sale includes 180 craft exhibitors and food vendors, activities for children, live music, antique & classic car show, 5K run, pancake breakfast spaghetti dinner, barn dance, and a self-guided drive-through tour of historic homes.

Best of all, the festival takes place in a wooded area known as the Timberlands near historic Tate Barn. The massive old oak trees provide plenty of shade as you stroll beside the old building while listening to an old-fashioned gristmill grind cornmeal throughout the day. Watch a potter or woodcarving artist at work or purchase a newly made treasure from one of the 160 crafters on site.

The festival hours are 9 a..m - 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. Admission: $5/car to park in reserved parking lot.
