Chris Janson Parties With His Country Music Friends in ‘Fix a Drink’ Video
Chris Janson can't fix all of life's problems, but in his latest music video, he can sure fix a drink. Readers can press play above to watch the singer-songwriter party with his good friends (and fellow country stars) Dustin Lynch, LoCash and Michael Ray (among others) in the video for his newest single, "Fix a Drink."
The "Fix a Drink" video's laid-back, creek-side party scene perfectly fits the feel-good summer song. Throughout the clip, Janson and his family and friends tear up the back roads in all sorts of vehicles and generally party like a group of less-famous people might out in the country. The artist delivers on his promise of libations, too, though it's a pretty girl doing most of the mixing while Janson sings.
Although Janson has sworn off drinking the hard stuff himself, he does confess to "lov[ing] the whole mixology subculture."
“I can fix a drink — and my drink of choice is a cold can of Mountain Dew, but I can fix all kinds of drinks. I’ve done it for years," Janson says. "And then when the song idea for “Fix a Drink” came together, it felt like a no-brainer. It just works. You can be drinking a Hi-C or a Jack and Coke, and it doesn’t matter. It’s a fun, feel-good song for the summer.”
Janson's latest single was co-written with Chris DuBois and Ashley Gorley. It's the first song from an upcoming album that has yet to be announced.
