Country Artist Sunny Sweeney in Concert Sept. 27

The place to be this Friday, Sept. 27, is Scottie's Grill with a performance from Texas singer/songwriter Sunny Sweeney.

Sweeney a Houston native has been making music for several years now. After moving to Austin, Texas she began making a name for herself in the local bars, honky-tonks and festivals in the area.  Nashville noticed and came calling in 2009 Sweeney eventually was led to sign a record deal with Republic Nashville. In 2010, her first single released to radio was a "From a Table Away," In March 2011, the song made it all the way to the Top 10.

In 2017, her fourth studio album, Trophy was released.
