Texas Artist Wade Bowen in Concert June 28

Texas Country/Red Dirt singer-songwriter Wade Bowen will be performing this Friday, June 28, 2019 at Scottie's Grill.

A native Texan from Waco, Wade Bowen has been entertaining crowds for years with his brand of beer drinking honky tonk Texas-style country. According to Wikipedia, Bowen's first album Try Not To Listen was released in 2002. Several more albums would follow including his second live album Billy Bob's Texas in Forth Worth in 2010.

Other albums included The Given in 2010, a self-titled album in 2014, a duets album in 2015 where he recorded a song with the Randy Rogers Band. He followed that up with a gospel influenced album, Then Sings My Soul for My Mother.

Bowen's newest album, Solid Ground may be his best yet. Here's a song from it.
