
New Aircraft Painting Facility Coming to Texarkana Regional Airport
A major boost for the local economy is on the way as Dean Baldwin Painting announced plans to expand operations with a new facility at Texarkana Regional Airport serving Southwest Arkansas and Northeast Texas.
The company shared the news in a recent social media announcement, calling the move a significant step in its continued growth and commitment to better serve customers in the aviation industry.
Purpose-Built for Growth in Texarkana
According to the announcement, the Texarkana facility will be newly engineered and specifically designed for aircraft painting services. The site is expected to feature:
- Four paint bays.
- One widebody bay capable of handling aircraft as large as a Boeing 747-8.
- Three narrowbody bays, including space for C-130 aircraft.
The expansion is aimed at increasing capacity while improving efficiency and flexibility for clients.
Jobs and Economic Impact
The new operation is expected to bring approximately 150 to 160 jobs to the Texarkana area, providing a notable economic boost and strengthening the region’s position in the aviation services sector.
Company officials described the project as more than just an expansion, emphasizing their appreciation for the opportunity to grow alongside their customers while maintaining a reputation for quality and reliability.

Construction timelines were not immediately announced, but the company says more updates will be shared as the project progresses toward bringing the Texarkana facility online.
