Eagle Baseball to Host Military/First Responder Appreciation Night Tomorrow

Texas A&M University-Texarkana baseball will host its annual Military and First Responder Appreciation night Wednesday, March 8.

According to a press release from the university, the Eagles will take on Ouachita Baptist University at 6PM at George Dobson Field at Spring Lake Park in Texarkana on Wednesday. A presentation of the colors and a moment of silence will be held in honor and recognition of veterans, active-duty military and first responders.

Fans are asked to wear red to remember everyone who is deployed in the nation's military.The A&M-Texarkana Student Veterans Association will have an information booth at the game. Local military and first response units will be represented as well.

Admission is free to all active-duty military, veterans and first responders.
