Fan Expo Dallas 2024 Is Over – What A Weekend

My wife Donna and I had another chance last weekend to fly those Geek flags high at the massive event held each year in Big D known as Fan Expo Dallas 2024. What a madhouse, in a good way. 

I do not know what the attendance to this year's Con turned out to be, but it always feels like a million or so all crammed into a minivan, at least on Saturday anyway.

I know, I'm having a "get off my lawn" Boomer kinda moment here but, dang, Saturday  = a lot of people.

The best days to go to this event are Friday evening and on Sunday when everyone else is headed back to their homes, in my opinion. But, if you only go on Saturday to these kinds of things, you will miss a lot of fun stuff.

Enough of my complaining, the reason so many show up for this annual event is simple, it's huge, and no matter where your fandom lies, you are sure to find something of great interest to you at Fan Expo.

Fan Expo Dallas is already set for next year, May 30 - June 1, and once again at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center downtown, where I will once again be asking someone politely to get off my toe, and having a great time as usual.
