First Annual Hog Hunt Contest March 6-8

The Cullen Baker Fair presents the First Annual Hog Hunt Contest March 6-8, in Bloomberg, Texas.

Money raised from the Hog Hunt will go towards the 46th Annual Cullen Baker Fair, "We are starting from scratch," said, Heather Linn, event coordinator.

Rules as  follows:

No trapping, high fence, or helicopters allowed. Other than that you can hunt however you like with dogs, guns, knives, thermals and night vision. You don't have to hunt just in Cass County, you can hunt in Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana or Oklahoma as long as you abide by state laws and have property owner's permission. All hogs must be dead when brought in.

Note: The winning team will be subjected to a polygraph test on-site.

$200 Entry Fee - 2-4 Person Teams

5 Hog Stringer:

1st Place - 50 percent of Total Entry Fee

Runner-up - 25 percent of Total Entry Fee

$30 Side Pots:

Longest Cutter

Registration March 6, 7PM

Weigh In - March 8, 12 Noon
