Make plans to join First Friday Market in Downtown Camden, Ark., on June 7, from 6PM – 9PM as they celebrate the “Dog Days of Summer”.

You will find a special farmer’s market set up on the Farmer’s Bank parking lot with fresh local produce, local honey, free range eggs, grass fed beef and much more. Enjoy the bluegrass sound of the “Rough and Ready” band as they play in the park at Washington St and Adams Ave. Bring your pet and get in on the competition of the Pet Costume Contest, or try your hand at the arm wrestling competition.There will be a special kids area complete with free train rides sponsored by the Camden Police Department.

You can shop the vast array of vendors set up along Washington St. and Adams Ave., be sure to stop by the Book signing happening in A Frame of Mind with authors Lavana Kindle and Charles Strickland.

Great food and drinks will also be available for purchase throughout the market. Downtown shops will be open late with “First Friday Specials." Enjoy a relaxed Friday evening in downtown Camden as you stroll, chat, nibble and shop.
