All First Responders will be fed meals all day this Wednesday May 22, 2019 as part of the annual First Responder’s Appreciation Day.

According to a press release, the all day event kicks off with a free breakfast 7AM till 9AM for all first responders including EMS, all law enforcement and firefighters at the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce 809 North Stateline in Texarkana, Texas. The breakfast will be prepared and delivered by the kitchen staff at First Baptist Church Texarkana on Moores Lane.  First Responders will be served meals for lunch and supper at any Big Jakes BBQ,  meal includes free sandwich, choice of meat, non-fried side and drink.

Mayors Allen Brown from Texarkana, Arkansas and Bob Bruggeman from Texarkana, Texas have a special arrival scheduled at the breakfast and dinners, where they will read a proclamation declaring Wednesday First Responder’s appreciation day.

“This has become an annual event,” Dr. Matt Young, physician-owner of Texarkana Emergency Center said. “Texarkana Emergency Center and all of the sponsors of First Responder’s Appreciation Day in Texarkana are grateful for the bravery and hard work demonstrated every day by our First Responder’s in the 4-States area.”

First Responder’s Appreciation Day in Texarkana is sponsored by Texarkana Emergency Center, Farmers Bank and Trust, Eagle Distributing, For All Brand Kind, Ledwell Enterprises, Texarkana Chamber of Commerce, LifeNet, Texarkana Funeral Home, First Baptist Church Texarkana on Moores Lane and Arklatex 100 Club.
