Good news: Country star Randy Travis has been released from Baylor Heart Hospital in Plano, Texas. After being hospitalized for congestive heart failure and a stroke which eventually required emergency surgery and found the singer in critical condition.

Travis has been discharged from the hospital but he still has a long road road to recovery. Travis has been relocated to a physical therapy facility so that he can continue on the path to getting better after coming down with an unusual virus.

Mary Davis, Travis fiancée issued a statement through the singer's publicist, who kept the media well-informed on the singer's condition during pretty much the entire month of July.

"Thanks to all the fans and friends for your continued prayers and support as Randy continues on the road to recovery,” Davis says.
