High Risk for Severe Weather Event Tuesday April 26, 2011

The National Weather Service has placed the Texarkana Area right in the middle of a * High Risk* Area for Severe Storms for later this Tuesday afternoon and this evening.

This means there is a High Probability that we will see Severe Thunderstorms with large Hail, damaging winds, and powerful, violent and long track tornadoes in our area. We will keep you up to date throughout the afternoon and evening of any weather watches and warnings that are issued for the Texarkana Area. Be sure and have your battery operated radios ready in case of any power losses during severe storms.
