I think I'm actually becoming a fan of the driver/rider ratings system.

You know what they say, "you get what you pay for." Well, I guess if you're willing to pay a few bucks to ride in a stranger's car, hoping they won't murder you, then you have to accept what you get. Don't get me wrong, I've had some stellar ride share divers who really roll out the red carpet for you, even if they are one of the more expensive options.

But then you have others who make you wish you had an ejection seat.

Recently, I had a ride share driver who made me uncomfortable. I'm all for someone who is chatty and can tolerate someone who can't zip their lips however, this guy was just abrasive. From foul language and politically charged remarks (which I can overlook for the most part) to intimate details about his relationship and scrolling through social media/photos while driving.

I couldn't get out of that car fast enough.

He wished me good luck as I closed the door and I almost shouted "you need it more than me", but I withheld. It was the longest 18 minutes of my life... Ok, that's dramatic. It was the longest 18 minutes of my week. I'm never one to judge someone and the way they choose to live their life so I just smiled through the trip.

How would you have reacted?
