It’s True! Panera Bread is Coming to Texarkana!

Panera Bread is coming to Texarkana. Oh, there have been rumors, many rumors over the years about one special eatery that has escaped us all in the Texarkana area. But now it is official we will have a Panera Bread location soon.

Several sources have now confirmed that a license was recently filed with the Texas

Department of Licensing and Regulations for Panera Bread to take over the old Texas Roadhouse building located at 4002 St. Michael Drive in Texarkana.

We first heard the rumors as far back as 2019. It's been a long wait and we'll have to wait just a little longer and they reconstruct the inside of the current building. Construction is expected to start in August and end in mid-December. Now how is that for a Christmas gift Texarkana?

if you've never been to Panera Bread it has a casual bakery-cafe style and has over 2,000 locations across the US and Canada. They make a lot of great baked goods including muffins, bagels, breads and sweets and they serve up wonderful soups, salads, sandwiches and more.
