Kellie Pickler’s ‘Christmas at Graceland’ Is Getting a Sequel
(Pretend) wedding bells will be ringing this summer for Kellie Pickler: The country singer and actress is returning to the small screen for Wedding at Graceland, the sequel to her 2018 Hallmark Channel holiday movie Christmas at Graceland.
In the holiday flick, Pickler played business executive Laurel, who shared a rekindled romance with music promoter Clay (Wes Brown) at Christmastime in Memphis, Tenn. The onscreen duo will be back in June to tie the knot in Wedding at Graceland, People reports, part of a month-long stream of wedding-focused movies on the Hallmark Channel. A third installation of the romantic series is slated for December as well, with filming set for the summer.
Filming for Wedding at Graceland, meanwhile, will begin in April. Laurel and Clay's wedding will take place in the Graceland Wedding Chapel in the Woods, which opened during Elvis Week in 2018, on the grounds of Presley's Graceland mansion, located outside of Memphis.
Pickler is a seasoned TV veteran by now: After her run on Season 5 of American Idol, the country singer won Season 16 of Dancing With the Stars and is also the host of the daytime talk show Pickler & Ben. More information about Wedding at Graceland can be found on Hallmark's official website.
