It seems Little Big Town will get a little creepy in their latest video, 'Tornado,' set to release on Halloween (Oct. 31). The eerie trailer for the video goes through a series of classic Americana-styled scenes, including a clanging gate, crows, windchimes blowing in the strong breeze and a young girl jumping rope and playing hopscotch as the wind from an approaching storm picks up. The townspeople are seen looking up at the sky with startled looks as the sky becomes darker.

The video is basically the story of a woman scorned. In the video you see her sitting in a bedroom, looking terrified before it becomes clear that a sinister man, played by actor Johnathon Schaech ('That Thing You Do,' 'Prom Night'), is holding her captive. It's apparent it's up to the LBT band to come to the rescue.

The video was shot in Watertown, Tenn., where a number of country videos were also filmed. 'Tornado' was directed by Shane Drake, who has also directed videos for Brantley Gilbert, Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry, Paramore and Fall Out Boy.

Little Big Town's 'Tornado' album stay atop the Billboard Country Albums chart for five weeks. The first single from the album, 'Pontoon,' became the group's first No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. And I think the new single sounds a lot like it.
