Maddie & Tae in Concert at Magic Springs July 2

The summer concert series continues at Magic Springs & Crystal Falls theme park in Hot Springs, Ark. The next country concert is Saturday, July 2, 2016 with the country duo Maddie & Tae.

Maddie Marlow and Taylor Dye best known as "Maddie & Tae" are one of the hottest female duos since The Judds and have turned country music upside down. With their breakout hit "Girl In A Country Song" from their album Start Here, the song was intended to poke fun at the bro country songs but from a humorous female point of view. The song winded up skyrocketing to the top of the country music charts and landed them at No #1 and no one was more surprised than the ladies who hail from Sugarland, Texas and Ada, Okla.

The two girls met one another through a vocal coach when they were 15 years old and went to Nashville to attend a publishing summer camp. By 2013, they had a record deal and both relocated to Nashville and in 2015 they were nominated for the Academy of Country Music Vocal Duo of the Year. Their next single was "Fly" followed by "Shut Up And Fish."

One thing's for certain, while most country music sounds more pop every day Maddie & Tae are straight on country.
