Memorial weekend kicks off with a big time Disney Classic as well as two other movies.

Aladdin  (PG)

The much anticipated live-action version of this Disney Classic comes to life on the big screen for the very first time. Mena Massoud plays Aladdin while Will Smith is the Genie, and Naomi Scott plays Jasmine. Expect to hear all your favorite songs from the original movie and a brand new song "Speechless" written for Jasmine. This movie should be fun for all ages.

Brightburn (R)

This is  different kind of super hero movie with a darker edge about an alien kids who crash lands in Kansas and develops superpowers. As he begins to grow older, he turns evil instead of good and attacks anyone he sees as a threat. Not your Superman at all. Not recommended for children. This movie stars Elizabeth Banks.

Booksmart  (R)

This movie is about two high school graduates played by Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein who make the decision to have one wild night before they graduate high school. Lisa Kudrow plays Kaitlyn's mom. Lots of teen fun!

Aladdin is my choice for this weekend. Grab the popcorn and I'll see you at the movies!
