There are 43 missing children and teens in the state of Arkansas right now. It's a horrible thought to think that some have been abducted. Others might be runaways and they may not realize that there are people who love them and want them to come safely back home.

I found a few that are missing from areas in Arkansas that are close enough to Texarkana that maybe, just maybe they have recently come to town or have passed through. Do any of these teens look familiar?

According to the National Center for the Missing and Exploited Children in 2018 there were 424,066 reports of missing children made to law enforcement.

86 percent endangered runaways.
10 percent family abductions.
2 percent lost, injured or otherwise missing children.
1 percent non-family abductions.
1 percent critically missing young adults, ages 18 to 20.
AMBER Alerts have successfully recovered 822 children, including 30 recoveries credited to the wireless emergency alert program.
