Movies in The Park Returns to Spring Lake Park in Texarkana

It's the perfect weather for Movies in The Park at Spring Lake Park to return. Yes, it's back before it gets too hot, and you are going to love the lineup!

The Texarkana, Texas Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce that Movies in the Park is making a return. The movies will be taking place on 2 Thursdays before the summer gets rolling. So, mark your calendars for Thursday, May 27 and Thursday, June 3 and be at Spring Lake Park located at 4303 North Park Road in Texarkana, Texas.

Movies in The Park is a free event. Movies will get started at dusk and there will be a concession stand with snacks available for purchase. Otherwise be sure to bring a blanket or lawn chairs and some snacks and get ready for the whole family to enjoy a movie outside.

Thursday, May 27 - Wonder Woman-1984. Rated PG-13 Starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine and Kristen Wig The movie will be shown at the usual spot(across from the airplane).

Thursday, June 3 - Field of Dreams. Rated PG Starring Kevin Costner, James Earl Jones and Ray Liotta. The movie will, ever so appropriately, be shown at Dobson Field in Spring Lake Park.
