Movies in The Park – The Town That Dreaded Sundown

Movies in The Park at Spring Lake Park takes place once again this Thursday, October 24 with the classic The Town That Dreaded Sundown. 

The Charles B. Pierce 1976 movie is a must for our town every year. The movie is based on a true story and its roots are in Texarkana and in Spring Lake Park...Boo!  Do you know anyone that was in the movie?

If you've never seen this movie then you don't know about the history of Texarkana. The movie clip below will fill you in!

This is a free event, so get your lawn chairs and blankets ready. Bring the family and some snacks and you're ready! Movies will start around dusk(approximately 7PM) and snacks and drink will also be available for purchase.
