Moonlight & Movies – ‘Sunset Boulevard’ June 23

There is just something special about watching old Hollywood classic movies. Well, the Texarkana Museum System Movies & Moonlight series continues at the historic Ace of Clubs House this Friday, June 23, 2017.

The movie selection this week is the 1950 Hollywood classic "Sunset Boulevard" starring actor William Holden. A movie that got its title after the boulevard that runs through Los Angeles and Beverly Hills, California according to Wikipedia. This movie was nominated for eleven Academy Awards and won for three different categories. "Sunset Boulevard" is also listed on the National Film Registry.

The movie this week is being sponsored by Dr. James Miller.

Gates open at 7:30PM and the movie begins at dusk or around 8:15PM. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket and concessions will be available.
