New National Chain Retail Store Coming to Texarkana in 2021

There is no doubt 2020 has been an unprecedented year with so many store closings nationwide due to the economic downfall due to a pandemic. However, Texarkana is getting some welcome news as a national chain retail store is coming soon!

Burlington will be opening soon in the old Toys R Us location adjacent to Central Mall. Despite the pandemic, Burlington has been thriving and continues to open new stores nationwide including the Texarkana store in 2021. The month and date are still to be determined. Originally, named Burlington Coat Factory, the family business began its operation in 1972, offering customers a wide range of select name brand coats. Clothing, shoes, sportswear,  home decor, beauty supplies, baby, and children apparel was added as the store continued to grow.
