There are only 14 days until Christmas and if you have been holiday shopping, I have some great news to tell you about in Texarkana.

Skechers is now open in their new store at 3325 Mall Drive, the former location of Pier 1 Imports, adjacent to Burlington's, just in time for the Christmas shopping season.

The store opened Saturday and I popped into the store on Sunday to check out the new store. I was surprised because I thought they were only going to have shoes in the new store but they also had a full line of clothing and apparel as well.

Not to mention a great selection of shoes, athletic sneakers, slippers, and work boots, a huge clearance section, and an awesome kid's section too.

What I loved about it was that everything was reasonably priced, something we can all appreciate when you're trying to maintain a budget this holiday season. The staff at the front desk were courteous, polite, and professional and answered all the questions I might have about the store.

What I personally like about Sketchers is that almost all their shoes are very comfortable and long-lasting and you can shop online or in the store. I am very excited they are now a part of the Texarkana community.
