Party With Frank Foster at the State Fair of Louisiana May 1
The State Fair of Louisiana is back! The State Fair opens today with its first-ever Spring edition running now through May 9. This weekend Shreveport-Bossier welcomes native son Frank Foster for one big throwdown Saturday night. The show is free with fair admission.
Over the years, Foster has brought his raucous down-home, honky-tonk, straight-up country to his legion of fans who have become known as the FF Nation.
Foster broke into the music scene in 2011 with his first album, Rowdy Reputation, followed by his second album, Red Wings and Six Strings, in 2012. Foster’s next three albums all debuted on the Billboard Country Charts. “Southern Soul” was released in 2013 debuted at #11. Rhythm and Whiskey” were released in 2014 debuted at #4. His 2016 release, “Boots On The Ground,” debuted at #7 which also saw the release of his 7th album, Good Country Music debuted on the Billboard country charts at #13.
Foster has opened for artists such as Hank Williams Jr., Lynyrd Skynyrd, Justin Moore, Randy Houser, Gary Allan, and others.
Frank's latest album released in 218 'Til I'm Gone is available on CD and Vinyl. The album features the songs "Beer Drinkin' Buddies" "Something Bout Being Free" and the title track "Til I'm Gone."
