Randy Sams’ Outreach Shelter Needs Your Help More Than Ever

Now's a great time to make a big impact on the Randy Sams' Outreach Shelter: They have two donors (The Patterson Troike Foundation and an anonymous donor) who have committed to matching up to $15,000 in donations for East Texas Giving Day. Plus, they have seen a sharp increase in clients in recent months.

At the Randy Sams' Outreach Shelter, they operate the area's only low-barrier homeless shelter, which means clients don't need to have extra changes of clothing, show identification or copies of Social Security cards or pay anything to stay there. The nonprofit organization provides emergency shelter, food, clothing, case management, life skills courses, job training, and transportation.

Randy Sams' Outreach Shelter helps adult men and women, allowing new clients to check in at any time, 7 days a week, and providing three meals a day, clothing, and laundry services. They can stay for up to 90 days. Their friendly staff ensures everyone feels welcome.
