A few weeks ago I posted a blog about a singing competition going at the website  Arkansas.com. At that time I posted a blog of one of the contestants Blane Howard who submitted his demo video for the contest. I personally thought Blane wrote a great song about the state of Arkansas.Earlier this week, I received an email from Blane's Booking and Promotions Manager, his mother Lori Howard thanking me for posting the blog on our website. She wanted to share with me that Blane made it to the finals and that voting started Monday and goes through Feb. 24 at noon.

You can vote one time each day from as many emails that you have! It only takes 15 seconds. Click on link, click on Blane or any of the other singers who you prefer (check will turn green), enter name and email and hit enter. It's that simple!

Winner will be announced on Monday March 3. That artist will perform at the 40th Annual Arkansas Governor’s Conference on Tourism in Rogers on Monday, March 10. The winner also receives a recording session and taping of a video of their entry along with $2,000.
