How Riverview Behavioral Health Fosters Real Change in Intensive Outpatient Program
Times are hard right now, and depression, anxiety, and overwhelming stress only makes it worse.
If you're feeling emotionally burnt out or at your wits' end, Riverview Behavioral Health has an intensive outpatient program for adults 18 and older that can help you feel like yourself again. The Riverview staff will begin with an assessment and then develop a personalized approach tailored to your situation. Most patient plans include multiple types of group therapy, but many patients have individual and family therapy at least once during the program.
You will have structured daily support while maintaining your daily life at home, and program leaders will emphasize real coping skills, real progress, and real hope. The therapy is led by licensed professional counselors (LPCs), licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs), or licensed master’s-level social workers (LMSWs) who work in-person at the Texarkana location. You also might participate in art and recreational therapy that can help you process feelings, challenges, and successes in productive ways.
Frequent group therapy topics include:
- Anger management
- Family and relationships
- Grief and loss
- Coping skills
- Impulse control
- Relapse prevention
The staff at Riverview Behavioral Health understands that taking that first step can be really hard. But they are available 24-7 to start the intake process when you are ready, and they have seen patient after patient make substantial improvements. One phone call really can change everything.
