It's almost time for the Run the Line Half Marathon in downtown Texarkana on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

16th Year For The Run the Line Half Marathon USATF-Certified Sanctioned Event

Runners who participate in the Run the Line Half Marathon will run a 13.1-mile loop on a USATF-certified single-loop course through Texas and Arkansas. There are several options in this race: run solo, 2-person relay on half the course, or split the miles with friends in a 4-person relay.  Walkers are welcome too.

This marks the 16th year of the Run the Line Half Marathon in Texarkana and has become a premier event. Runners from all over the country, along with locals, want to participate in this sanctioned event that allows them to cross the state line from Arkansas intoTexas.

Few half marathons in the world give you the chance to cross a state line mid-race. 500+ runners are expected in this race.

The Run the Line Half Marathon Route - Downtown Texarkana Feb. 14

Race begins at 7:30 AM on W. Broad Street and Texas Blvd downtown Texarkana, Texas, and finishes in Texarkana, Arkansas, on 3rd and Wood Streets in front of Hopkins Icehouse. The route features asphalt trails through Spring Lake Park and Nix Creek Trail, historic city streets, and even some residential neighborhoods.

Everyone who finishes the race receives a medal and is treated to burgers and drinks at the post-party celebration.
